Scroll of the Anathema
The winged stalkers are slightly taller than their cousins, standing up to ten feet tall when not crouched over. Their thin sinewed limbs are covered in light green or grey scale patterns, and most of the bony ridges and protrusions along their backs and joints are adorned by long feathers. Their long lizard-like beaks are filled with razor sharp teeth, and their talons are several inches long. Each hand has one finger which stretches the length of the rest of its arm, though they tend to keep it tucked against their body when not using their wings to glide the short distances available in the underways of Ithess.
These stalkers are the most numerous of the city, and while they are not necessarily more intelligent than the others in action, they are the only ones that may sometimes be found idly scrawling abstruse geometric symbols and patterns on the walls of their dens.

Carried Away: When this stalker deals 5+ damage with a withering talon attack, it may choose to forgo receiving any Initiative it would normally receive from the attack and instead make a reflexive clinch attack against that enemy. Each point of Initiative it would have gained instead adds one die to the control roll if the clinch attack successfully hits.
Dread Clutches: When the stalker savages a clinched enemy with an attack, it may also choose to drag him along with any movement actions it takes.
Swooping Descent: A stalker that flies downward to make a decisive surprise attack or ambush against an enemy adds two automatic successes to the attack roll.
Pack Hunting: When the stalker attacks an enemy, it adds one automatic success to the attack roll for each allied stalker in close range to that enemy, to a maximum of three successes. On a decisive attack, it may also pay a point of Willpower to add that many dice to the raw damage of the attack, representing its pack mates joining in the attack.
Keen Sight: This stalker applies the double 9s rule to Perception-based rolls made using sight.
